Initial Safety Checks and Start Up Procedures
DANGER
Improper use of autonomous equipment, or faulty route
planning, may cause property damage, personal injury, or death.
Instruct personnel working in the operational area and vicinity of
the autonomous tractor of safety procedures and use of the
tractor Lockout Switch.
With the OMNiDRIVE™ system fully installed, please complete the following as a final system
safety check.
1. Start the tractor and put the transmission selector in Park.
Note:
When operating an
IVT
1
tractor, use the control stick speed dial to set the
speed for F1 at 10 mph [16 km/h] and F2 at 20 mph [32 km/h].
2. Toggle the armrest switch to the autonomous mode.

On a
PST

tractor, the corner post display will remain in Park.
l
On an IVT tractor, the corner post display will cycle through Park, F1, F2, Neutral,
and Reverse gears.
3. Toggle the armrest switch off and move the tractor and the
controlling combine

into
a field area to test autonomous operation.

The combine that may assign paths to, and may sync with, the OMNiDRIVE™ tractor. One
controlling combine is required for all OMNiDRIVE™ locations.
