Set Up Instructions:
Note: Please first inspect your stands to make sure there is no damage. Check all joints, knobs and rivets
to ensure the product is intact. The unit has already undergone quality inspections. However, your
safety is first. Please contact us immediately to resolve any issues. The Allen set screw that holds the
center pole may need to be adjusted for tightness to ensure the center pole remains secured. This set
screw is located near the bottom of the center pole. When using the stands, be careful not to damage or
dent the poles or tighten the knobs with too much force as the poles will become hard to extend or
collapse and may even get stuck.
Before adjusting the height of the tripod stands, please ensure the air cushion cap at the bottom of the
center pole is securely in place. The air cushion is in place to prevent the height sections from crashing
to the bottom. If the air cushion cap falls out, insert the cap back into the bottom of the center pole. If
the problem persists, you can add a small amount of glue to the cap before replacing it into the center
pole.
1. Setting up the tripods: Upon removing the tripods from the bag
all knobs will be tightened. To set up the tripod, you will first need
to loosen the knob on the leg brace. Pull the legs outward from
the center pole and then push in a downward motion on the top of
the brace while holding the center pole (See Figure 1). Continue
pushing downward until the legs are fully extended.
Next, adjust to
the height. Finally, tighten the leg knob to lock the legs in place.
2. Setting up the extension poles: Your background stand comes
with five 3’ cross bars. The poles have been designed with a male
and a female end on each bar resulting in a slide and lock design
(See Figure 2).
Before connecting the crossbar sections together,
please make sure that both male and female ends are clean and
free of debris. Also inspect the poles to ensure they are not bent or
pressed in so that they can easily be attached and detached from
each other. Please make sure to only turn the crossbars 90 degrees
as indicated on the stickers to avoid jamming the sections together.
Slide the silver male end into one of the female ends. Once fully
inserted, turn the poles approximately 90 degrees until you feel a
lock and the arrows on the stickers are aligned with each other.
