9.12.3 Changing a wheel
Prerequisites:
Use a jack that can lift a load of at least
5 tons
.
Use a torque wrench to tighten the wheel nuts.
Positioning the jack:
Position the jack so that the support surface cannot slip under any
circumstances (e.g. with a suitable piece of wood or rubber block).

WARNING
Danger of accident due to incorrect changing of wheels
Improper changing of a wheel of the large area spreader can result
in serious accidents involving personal injury.
Change the wheel only on the empty large area spreader
attached to the tractor.
To change the wheel, the large area spreader must stand
on level and firm ground.
Additionally secure the jack
against slipping.
When changing a wheel on
the right side in the direction
of travel, place the jack on
the right [1] under the axle
mounting.
When changing a wheel on
the left side in the direction of
travel, place the jack on the
left [2] under the axle at the
height of the spring link.
