1.4.7 Connection to the R&S UPP
In contrast to the R&S UPV and R&S UPL, the R&S UPP does not offer an RS232
interface. Therefore a USB connection is the only way of controlling an R&S UPZ form
an R&S UPP. Starting from variant .12 and .13 the R&S UPZ is equipped with an USB
device connection. Older models which do not offer an USB interface can be controlled
by the R&S UPP by usage of a conventional USB-COM adapter cable.
