1.3.3 Mounting the Instrument in a Rack
The instrument can be mounted in 19" racks by means of Rack Adapter ZZA-111 (order
No. 1096.3254.00). The installation is described in the mounting instructions for the
rack adapter.
Risk of instrument damage
For rack installation, make sure that all fan openings are unobstructed and that the
airflow perforations are unimpeded. This helps to prevent the instrument from
overheating.
1.3.4 Connecting the Instrument to the AC Supply
The R&S UPZ can be connected to single-phase AC supply with a nominal voltage of
115 V and 230 V and nominal frequencies of 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
The R&S UPZ should be set to the correct AC supply voltage at the rear. The values of
the all-pole fuse should be adapted accordingly.
The table below shows different AC supply voltages and the required voltage selector
setting.
