Digital channels and parallel buses
Each digital channel can be displayed on the screen and used as trigger source. Digital
channels can be grouped and displayed as a parallel bus. Up to four parallel buses can
be configured; and two bus types are supported: clocked bus and unclocked bus. The
clocked bus is available only on parallel bus 1 and 2. Each digital channel can be
assigned to one
active
parallel bus only, the instrument disables conflicting buses auto-
matically.
You can display each bus and use it as trigger source, as well. For each active parallel
bus, the corresponding signal icon appears on the signal bar and indicates the
assigned digital channels. Individual digital channels do not have a signal icon.
If one or more parallel buses are active, the roll mode is not available.
