Settings
Some additional settings are available to configure the exported SCPI command files.
Add Synchronization Commands ← Settings
If enabled, additional commands are included in the script to synchronize the recorded
commands when necessary. For instance, when a measurement is started, a
*WAI
command is inserted to ensure that the next command is only executed after the mea-
surement has finished.
Combined Recording of Spectrum Analyzer and R&S Signal Generator ← Set-
tings
Records commands both from the R&S
FSV/A and from a connected R&S signal gen-
erator.
To record commands that are executed by the signal generator, the instruments must
be connected via LAN.
To avoid duplicate commands for the same setting on the individual instruments, you
can couple the most important parameters between the analyzer and the generator
automatically. See
Chapter 12.10.3, "Generator Coupling"
IP Address or Computer name of Signal Generator ← Settings
The IP address or computer name of the signal generator connected to the
R&S
FSV/A via LAN.
For tips on how to determine the default computer name, see
on page 40, or the signal generator's user documentation.
