TTL Handshake
If available for the specified generator type, this option activates TTL synchronization
via handshake for GPIB connections.
Using the TTL interface allows for considerably higher measurement rates than pure
GPIB control, because the frequency stepping of the R&S
FSV/A is directly coupled
with the frequency stepping of the generator.
For more information on TTL synchronization, see
For an overview of which generators support TTL synchronization see
"Overview of Supported Generators"
Remote command:
SYSTem:COMMunicate:RDEVice:GENerator<gen>:LINK
GPIB Address / TCPIP Address / Computer Name
For LAN connections: TCP/IP address of the signal generator
For GPIB connections: GPIB address of the signal generator.
Remote command:
SYSTem:COMMunicate:GPIB:RDEVice:GENerator<gen>:ADDRess
SYSTem:COMMunicate:TCPip:RDEVice:GENerator<gen>:ADDRess
Reference
Selects the internal R&S
FSV/A or an external frequency reference to synchronize the
R&S
FSV/A with the generator (default: internal).
Remote command:
SOURce<si>:EXTernal<gen>:ROSCillator[:SOURce]
Edit Generator Setup File
Displays the setup file for the currently selected
an editor.
Although the existing setup files are displayed in read-only mode in the editor, they can
be saved under a different name (using "File > SaveAs").
Be careful, however, to adhere to the required syntax and commands. Errors are only
detected and displayed when you try to use the new generator (see also
"Displayed Information and Errors"
For details, see
Chapter 4.3.3, "Generator Setup Files"
Frequency Min / Frequency Max
For reference only: Lower and upper frequency limit for the generator.
Level Min / Level Max
