Extended averaging yields more stable results for power sensor measurements, espe-
cially for measurements on signals with a low power, because it minimizes the effects
of noise.
Suffix:
<p>
.
Power sensor index
Parameters:
<NumberReadings> An average count of 0 or 1 performs one power reading.
Range:
0 to 256
Increment: binary steps (1, 2, 4, 8, ...)
Example:
PMET2:MTIM:AVER ON
Activates manual averaging.
PMET2:MTIM:AVER:COUN 8
Sets the number of readings to 8.
[SENSe:]PMETer<p>:MTIMe:AVERage[:STATe]
<State>
This command turns averaging for power sensor measurements on and off.
Suffix:
<p>
.
Power sensor index
Parameters:
<State>
ON | OFF | 0 | 1
OFF | 0
Switches the function off
ON | 1
Switches the function on
Example:
PMET2:MTIM:AVER ON
Activates manual averaging.
[SENSe:]PMETer<p>:ROFFset[:STATe]
<State>
This command includes or excludes the reference level offset of the analyzer for power
sensor measurements.
Suffix:
<p>
.
Power sensor index
Parameters:
<State>
ON | OFF | 0 | 1
OFF | 0
Switches the function off
ON | 1
Switches the function on
Example:
PMET2:ROFF OFF
Takes no offset into account for the measured power.
