Remote access settings
This section outlines the settings required for accessing and configuring the provided
remote control interfaces. It includes network settings, access addresses, emulation
settings for using the command sets of other generators, and the access whith smart
devices.
About instrument emulations
You can remotely control the R&S
AREG800A using the command set of another sig-
nal generator. With this function you can, for example, replace a signal generator with
an R&S
AREG800A in an automated test setup, without adjusting the command scripts
used.

selection list.
Remote access settings
