8.2 FXS/FXO
8.2.1 Functions and appearance

Function
The FXS/FXO card is a 16-way voice access card. It provides the
following functions:
Provide 16 ways of voice services. There are four voice modules:
16FXS/16FXO, 8FXS/8FXO, and 8S8O.
Support signaling occupation bits: a-bit and b-bit. By default, it is a-
bit.
Support configuring voice gain through software:

The A/D gain ranges from -10 to 16 dB, and is 0 dB by default.

The D/A gain ranges from -13 to 10 dB, and is -3.5 dB by default.
Support configuring the signaling mode to RAISECOM, user-defined
mode, or other modes. By default, it is RAISECOM.
Support querying signaling status.
Support reverse polarity switching.
Support CID.
Support lightning protection and overcurrent protection.
The 16FXS/8FXS card is of high power when multiple ways of
services are in off-hook status, so hot swapping is prohibited.
To avoid abnormalities such as false ringing, remove the
cable of each voice interface before hot swapping of the
16FXS, 16FXO, 8FXS, 8FXO, and 8S8O cards.
