3.5 Connecting to other device (electrical interface) 

 

Use the Cat. 5 twisted-pair cable to connect the RC1104-FE-4W to other devices. 
The length of the twisted-pair cable cannot exceed 100m. 

When the RC1104-FE-4W is self-adaptively connected to other devices through the electrical 
interface, the rate of the electrical interface on other device supports 10/100 Mbit/s auto-
negotiation.

3.6  Installing device to chassis 

Install the RC1104-FE-4W as below: 

Step 1

 

Install the 19-inch 3U standard RC002-16 chassis or single-slot chassis on the rack. 

Step 2

 

Align the RC1104-FE-4W with the guiderail and insert it into the chassis. 

Step 3

 

Fasten the RC1104-FE-4W with captive screws, as shown in Figure 3-4.
