13.8.1 Appearance and functions 

Appearance 

Function 

 

The OPCOM3500E-HT-6FE24E1 is an electrical interface EoPDH protocol converter 
card on the iTN2100. 

 

You can set the first six FE interfaces to 100 Mbit/s full duplex mode fixedly or auto-
negotiation mode (in this mode it supports 100 Mbit/s full duplex only). You can set line 
order to MDIX or self-adaptive. 

 

Support flow control on the FE interface. 

 

Each E1 interface supports framed and unframed modes in single-E1 mode. 

 

Support the following in E1 reverse multiplexing mode: 

 

Support reverse multiplexing of eight E1 links at most. 

 

Transmission of frame interleaving from Ethernet frames to E1 signals. 

 

Automatical recognition of E1 line order. 

 

Maximum relative delay ±16ms for E1 links. 

 

Automatical construction or destruction of E1 links. 

 

Framed mode. It supports FAS+CRC4 PCM31 mode and automatical CRC. You can 
configure them. 

 

Support E1 loopback detection and BERT. 

 

Support statistics of sent frames, received frames, package traffic, number of error 
packages on each E1 interface. 

 

Support remote NMS for remote protocol converters and attached Ethernet transceivers. 

 

Support hot swapping. 

 

13.8.2 Slots 

The OPCOM3500E-HT-6FE24E1 can be plugged into slots 1–5 and 8–12 on the iTN2100.
