2-2. Installation of Universal RAID Utility (Windows)
This paragraph describes the procedure of installation of URU.
Please refer to "Universal RAID Utility Ver2.3 User’s Guide" (The file name: uru23eug.pdf - uru23eugc.pdf,
contain in ¥doc¥EN¥) for the method of installing the URU Ver2.31 or later.
There may be the case that URU has been already installed in your computer. Please check whether URU
must be installed or not by the following procedure.
Confirmation of version of URU
See the file below with notepad or text editor. Refer to the first line.

[CPU architecture (x64)]

¥Universal RAID Utility¥server¥version.txt
The version is older than 2.31 or the file does not exit:
Install URU Ver2.31 contained in the CD-ROM which is supplied with the RAID Controller.
The version is 2.31 or later:
The proper version of URU is already installed.
