FYA Solo – The Solid Red, Yellow and Green Arrow indications come from the Parent channel. The FYA
will come from a child channel.
FYA 1-4 Yellow - This affects parent channels 1-4. When ON the FYA is driven by a Yellow output
of the child channel. When OFF the FYA is driven by a Green output of the child channel.
FYA 5-16 Yellow - This affects parent channels 5-16. When ON the FYA is driven by a Yellow
output of the child channel. When OFF the FYA is driven by a Green output of the child channel.
Green Solo – The Solid Green indication comes from the parent channel. The FYA, Solid Yellow Arrow,
and Solid Red Arrow come from the child channel.
Ignore Unused Chan - If yes is selected the Yellow and Red drivers of the "Parent Channel" are
ignored for conflict, dual indication, short clearance, and short yellow monitoring. If No is selected the
Yellow and Red signal indications are monitored for all faults.
FYA Parent – The parent channel is the channel that contains the Green Arrow Signal Indication
FYA Child – The child channel is the channel that contains the FYA Signal Indication
FYA Opposing Thru – The thru channel opposing the FYA Parent Channel
Allow Concurrent Yel - If this feature is ON the Yellow arrow terminating the FYA will not conflict with the
Yellow ball for the opposing through movement.
Tests Modified:
Conflict
: The protected green arrow of a FYA signal will conflict per the program card settings of the parent
channel.
The FYA of a FYA signal will conflict per the program card settings of the child channel. If FYA Easy
Programming is selected, the FYA channel will conflict per the program card settings of the opposing thru
channel. If the FYA stops flashing, it will be monitored as a Solid Yellow Arrow.
The Yellow Arrow of an FYA signal is monitored per the program card settings of the parent channel. If
ALLOW CONCURRENT YEL: is YES then the yellow following a FYA will not conflict with the opposing
thru yellow. If IGNORE YEL TRAP: is YES, then the Yellow of the FYA channel can be on with the opposing
thru green indication following a flashing yellow arrow.
If GREEN SOLO is selected and IGNORE UNUSED CHAN is YES, the Yellow signal of the FYA parent
channel is ignored for conflicts.
If FYA SOLO is selected, the channel must have both RED ENABLE and FIELD CHECK/DUAL
INDICATION OFF, no MYCD jumper, and is not selected as a pedestrian channel then the unused indication
(Green or Yellow) of the FYA channel is ignored for conflicts.
Red Fail
: A FYA signal is a logical combination of 4 indications. If the any of the indications is off for 800ms
then a red fail is indicated.
Dual Indication
: The Dual indication setting for a FYA channel is associated to the channel that has the green
indication (Parent channel). The MMU will interpret the 4 indications for FYA. It will perform the additional tests
of Red + FYA, FYA, and Green + FYA.
Short Yellow Monitoring
: Following a Green or Flashing Yellow Arrow indication on a FYA channel the Yellow
Arrow of the FYA channel will be checked for short yellow and skipped yellow.
Short Clearance Monitoring
: Following a Green or Flashing Yellow Arrow indication on a FYA channel the
Yellow Arrow of the FYA channel will be checked for short clearance monitoring.
Typical Use
: The monitoring of FYA Signals for the detection of, and response to, improper and conflicting
signals and improper operating voltages in a Controller Assembly (CA).

LED THRESHOLDS
Configuration:
The setting of LED Thresholds determines if this feature is active. The testing default for this
feature is LED Thresholds to no.
Tests Modified:
Conflict
: Normal conflict testing senses Greens, Yellows, and Walks as ON when their voltage is above 25V
RMS
and OFF when below 15V
RMS
. Reds are ON when their voltage is above 70V
RMS
and OFF when below 50V
RMS
.
With LED thresholds, the monitor senses Greens, Yellows, Reds, and Walks as ON when their voltage is above
25V
RMS
and OFF when below 15V
RMS
.
Red Fail
: Normal red fail testing senses Greens, Yellows, and Walks as ON when their voltage is above 25V
RMS
and OFF when below 15V
RMS
. Reds are ON when their voltage is above 70V
RMS
and OFF when below 50V
