3. Create a full system backup of the APSolute Vision on the ODS-VL platform.
4. Export the full system backup from the
storage location
on the ODS-VL platform to a specified
location (for example, your computer).
5. Import the full system backup from the specified location to the
storage location
on the ODS-
VL2 platform.
6.
Restore
the system on the ODS-VL2 platform using the specified full system backup.
7. On the ODS-VL2 platform, from the
root/opt/radware/box/bin
directory, run the following
command:
system_post_restore.sh
8. Run the following command to restart APSolute Vision:
reboot
Troubleshooting Fan Failure
When the platform boots, if fan failure is detected, the following message is displayed:
Warning: <date> <time> WARNING Fan failure was detected. <Number> fans are
not operational
The platform sends the warning in SNMP, syslog, or mail traps.
Once operating, the platform checks for fan failure every 60 seconds. If fan failure is detected, a
single message is displayed and a trap is sent every 10 minutes thereafter, as long as the problem
persists.
Replacing a Power Supply
To replace a power supply
1. Turn off the platform.
2. Disconnect the power cable from the faulty power supply.
3. Remove the faulty power supply from the platform.
4. Fully insert the new power supply into the platform until it clicks.
5. Connect the power cable to the new power supply.
