To configure SIP load balancing
1. Before you start configuring SIP load balancing:

Connect each SIP proxy server to Alteon
—
Configure the IP addresses on all devices connected to Alteon
—
Configure the IP interfaces on Alteon
—
Enable Direct Access Mode (DAM)
—
Disable proxy IP addressing
2. Enable server load balancing.
3. Configure IP addresses for the SIP proxy servers.
4. Create a group to load balance the SIP proxy servers.

>> # /cfg/slb/real 1/rip 10.10.10.1
(Define address for MCS 1)
>> Real server 1# ena
(Enable Real Server 1)
>> # /cfg/slb/real 2/rip 10.10.10.2
(Define address for MCS 2)
>> Real server 2# ena
(Enable Real Server 2)
>> # /cfg/slb/real 3/rip 10.10.10.3
(Define address for MCS 3)
