34.4. Volume
You can change volume of the loudspeaker mounted in the weighing indicator.
Procedure:
- Press
key, go to <
Misc./Volume> submenu.
- An on-screen keyboard is displayed.
- Enter volume in percent: 100% - maximum volume, 0% - minimum volume (loudspeaker
off).
34.5. Sleep Mode
You can turn on display sleep mode.
Procedure:
- Press
key, next go to: <
Misc./Display sleep mode> submenu.
Select one of the following options: [None; 1; 2; 3; 5; 10; 15]. Digits stand for minutes. The
software returns to the previous menu.
CAUTION:
Display turns to sleep mode only when the balance is not operated (the indication on the
screen remains the same). Upon mass change, or pressing any key on the panel, the mass
comparator returns to weighing.
34.6. Display Brightness
Display brightness influences duration of battery-powered balance operation. The brighter
the screen, the shorter operation time. To make the balance work longer, reduce screen
brightness.
Procedure:
- Press
key, next go to <
Misc./Display brightness>submenu.
Enter desired value: [0% - 100%]. Display brightness changes automatically, the previous
menu is displayed.
34.7. Touch Panel Calibration
Display calibration is required if the touch panel does not react correctly during operation.
Procedure:

Enter <
Misc.> submenu.
•
Select <
Touch panel calibration> parameter, an edit box is displayed.
•
Use finger or a thin , soft stylus to press and hold a display area with a cross. After
pressing the fifth cross in order, accept the changes by pressing
key.
CAUTION:
The process can be aborted by pressing Esc key on an external keyboard connected to the
balance indicator.
34.8. Level Control
The balance is equipped with Automatic Level Control mechanism. You can define its
operation for non-verified devices.
