Memory Module
Introduction
Follow these steps to install the memory module.
Step Action
1.
Hold the memory module so that the warranty and part description
stickers are facing up. The row of gold pins should be on the left.
2.
On the right side of the CPU is a tan colored bracket with two rows of
gold pins. Place the gold pins on the memory module in the bottom
row of gold pins in the tan bracket (Memory module is inserted
diagonally).
3.
Press the memory module firmly towards the bracket so that the gold
pins sit securely in the bottom row. The pins should line up in a
straight line.
4.
Press down firmly on the memory module until the two latches (one at
the top and one at the bottom) are engaged.
