If a repeater unit is connected, this can be dimmed along with the main
instrument. In such case, the dimmer signal K2-1 and K2-2 of the main
instrument should be connected to the repeater unit, so that the repeater unit
can be dimmed along with the main instrument.
K2-8 and 7:
Repeater output
An external analogue indicator of 1mA can be connected via K2-8 and K2-7.
With P1, one can set the instrument at 0 and with P4, one can control the
deflection of the repeater. An output has been provided on the K2-1 and K2-2
to enable dimming along with the repeater units. The output voltage of this
dimming signal is 15V and can control a maximum of 150 mA.
K2-9 and 10:
NMEA-out
An NMEA signal according to the IEC 61162 standard is transmitted over this
output. The signals transmitted are $SDDBT and $SDDPT. The following
signals are emitted at a depth of 1.7 meters; $SDDBT,5.5,f,1.7,M,,F*2E and
$SDDPT,1.7,,50,*7B.
If a S-120 is connected, this output is for setting the range of depth sounder
Junction box.
K2-11 and 12:
NMEA in
This input is for connecting a S-120.

Communication
K3-1 and 2: Bi-directional communication port 1A
K3-3 and 4: Bi-directional communication port 1B
Port 1A and 1B are identical (internally looped together)
The junction box can be connected to port 1A and the second display unit can
be connected to port 1B.
