Pocket Weatheradio

with Tone and Vibrating Alert

Your RadioShack Pocket Weatheradio is designed to
receive National Weather Service (NWS) broadcasts,
which provide information about weather conditions and
forecasts 24 hours a day.

Your Weatheradio searches for the strongest signal
among the 7 weather channels (WX) and tunes to the
strongest channel. The Weatheradio receives these
transmissions from up to 40 miles away.

The Weatheradio sounds an alarm or vibrates when a
weather station broadcasts a special alert signal indicat-
ing a weather emergency, keeping you up to date on
your local weather situation.

Next Button — lets you choose the channel and check
the alert tone or vibrator.

Battery-Saving Circuit — minimizes power consump-
tion in the alert mode.
