The telephone company sends the correct time with
each incoming call, so the correct date and time are
automatically set when the system receives its first call.

9. Replace the battery cover and the screw. If you are

replacing the batteries, reconnect the phone lines.

When 

 flashes in the upper right corner of the display or

the display dims, replace the batteries. 

Cautions:

• Always remove old or weak batteries. Batteries can

leak chemicals that can damage your system.

• Dispose of dead batteries promptly and properly; do not

bury or burn them.

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of bat-
