Features  

 
The Radio Shack Musical Powerhorn is ideal at ball games or anywhere you want to 
be heard.  It can play 94 built-in tunes - everything from major college fight songs to 

nostalgic favorites - and can also be played manually like an organ.  Its features 
include:         

 

Record and Playback - records and plays back up to five songs.  

 

Built-In Microphone - lets you project your voice up to 300 feet away. 

 

External Microphone - lets you use your Powerhorn to amplify an external 
microphone.  

 

Adjustable Shoulder Strap - for easy carrying. 

 

Power Sources 

 

INSTALLING BATTERIES 
 
The Powerhorn is powered by eight AA batteries (not supplied).  When the 

Powerhorn's sound weakens, replace the batteries.  We recommend alkaline 
batteries such as Radio Shack Cat. 23-552.   

 
Follow these steps to install the batteries.  

1.

 

Set POWER ON/OFF to OFF.  

2.

 

Slide the battery compartment cover down to remove it. 

3.

 

Install the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked 

inside the battery compartment. 

4.

 

Replace the cover. 

 

Operation 

 

TURNING THE POWERHORN ON AND OFF 
 

1.

 

Set POWER ON/OFF to ON.  The POWER indicator lights.   

2.

 

Set POWER ON/OFF to OFF to turn off the Powerhorn.   
 

The Powerhorn sounds a tone whenever you press a button. To silence this 
tone, press and hold the trigger button before pressing any other button.
