The DVRs have the option to have all of the configuration settings reset to the
Factory Defaults. Executing this function is irreversible and once the settings have been
changed, the user must either manually change the settings, use the USB Flash Drive to
upload the new configuration file, place the configuration file on the hard drive with
Windows Explorer, or use the PC Remote Management Software to change the
configuration.
To reset the unit to the default settings, select DEFAULT SETUP, then select
APPLY. The unit will display the RESTORING, PLEASE WAIT… message as shown
in Figure 61 on Page 61. Once this message disappears, the unit has been reset to the
default settings.
