Removal (refer to Figure 5)
1.
Turn the isolation screw on the isolator valves through 90
o
to isolate the water
supplies to the mixing valve . Open an outlet fitting to release pressure and to
assist the draining of residual water.
2.
Remove the temperature knob concealing cap and then the screw using the 3
mm hexagonal wrench (supplied). Remove the temperature knob.
3.
Remove the two screws holding the cover shroud in position and remove the
cover shroud.
4.
Remove the hub, the circlip and the pressure washer.
5.
Remove the eight screws and remove the cover. Note the position of the stop on
the cover, so that it can be re-assembled in the same position.
6.
Remove the temperature spindle and drive nut.
7.
Remove the thermostat assembly and the pinned actuator.
