Decoder Operation
This section explains how to start and stop the QVDEC4K for video decoding. This section
assumes that you have already created one or more decoding profiles as per Section 2, above.
3.1 Starting and Stopping the Decoder
Enter
http://IPAddress
where
IPAddress
is the IP address of the decoder.
1. Select the
Profiles
menu on the left side of the web page.
2. Click the
Start
button associated with the desired profile, on the right side of the profile
listing. To the right of the
Start
button are selections to
Edit
and
Delete
that profile.
3. To confirm that the decoder has started, click on
Dashboard
. If you have trouble starting the
decoder, please check messages under the
Decoder/Messages
menu.
4. Clicking
Stop
(or the stop icon) on the upper right side of the Profiles page will stop the
decoder. You can edit any decoder parameters while the decoder is running, both for the
current profile and other profiles. However, to change settings or profiles, you must first click
Stop and then click on
Start
to restart the decoder with a new or updated profile.
Note:
If you wish to reconfigure the decoder, remember to first click on
Update URL
if you had
changed the
Main Feed
, and then click
Save
to save any configuration changes
before
restarting
the decoder.
