EU Directive on Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equip-
ment (WEEE)

This equipment is classified as Type 3 IT and Telecommunications Equipment under the terms of EU Directives 
2002/96/EC and 2003/108/EC.  These directives are now being transposed into law by the individual EU member 
states.

At the end of life of this equipment it must be disposed of in an approved manner according to the laws of the EU 
member state in which the equipment is located.  The equipment should be returned to the registered producer, from 
which it was obtained, for disposal.
