USB Interfaces

4.6.

The Smart EVB G2 provides two USB interfaces: Micro USB interface and Type-C interface.



The Type-C interface complies with the USB 3.0/2.0 specifications and supports super speed (5Gbps)

on USB 3.0, high speed (480 Mbps) on USB 2.0 and full speed (12 Mbps) modes.



The Micro USB interface complies with the USB 2.0 specifications and supports high speed (480

Mbps) on USB 2.0 and full speed (12 Mbps) modes.



Both USB interfaces support USB OTG function, and are used for AT command communication, data

transmission, software debugging and firmware upgrade.



Switch S0601 is used to switch between the two interfaces.

The following figure shows a reference circuit design for USB interfaces.
