Installing ETM files on the Quectel BG96 module
using Windows 10
To copy ETM files onto the Quectel BG96 module:
1. Ensure you have installed the required drivers and files for Windows 10, described above.

2. In the extracted
EseyeTelemetryModule_<
version
>_ma
folder, locate:
•
EseyeTelemetryModule_<
version
>_ma.bin
•
oem_app_path.ini
3. Using a separate File Explorer, in the extracted
Quectel_EFS_Explorer_V<
version
>_Windows
folder, locate and run
QEFS_Explorer.exe
to launch the application.
4. In
QEFS Explorer
, on the left hand side, select
.
5. If the
Please Select DM Port
dialog box appears, select
File
>
Device
>
Quectel USB DM Port
to
set the DM Port to the connected Quectel BG96 module, then select
.
6. Double-click the
datatx
folder to expand it.
7. Drag and drop the ETM bin and ini files into the QEFS Explorer
datatx
folder.
A dialog box appears for each file you transfer.
8. Select
OK
on each dialog box to transfer the files onto the connected Quectel BG96 module.
9. Reboot the Quectel BG96 module to load and start the ETM application.
