Removing All Magazines from the Library
Use this procedure to remove all magazines from the library.
1.
Make sure the library is powered down.
2.
Look through the viewing window and verify that all cartridges are fully
seated, either in a magazine slot or in the robotic hand.
CAUTION: You can damage the library severely if you try to remove a
magazine when one of the data cartridges is not fully seated.
3.
Press the button next to the magazine access door.
Wait for the magazine access door to open.
4.
Remove the left magazine:
a.
Use a slender object, such as a pen, to press and hold the magazine
release button.
b.
Grasp the handle at the front of the left magazine and slide it forward
out of the library.
5.
Remove the right magazine by grasping the handle at the front of the
magazine and slide it forward, out of the library.
