Lattus A10 Access Node User’s Guide

Chapter 3

Product Overview

The Lattus A10 Access Node is the gateway between your applications

and the Lattus object storage. The Lattus A10 Access Node leverages

industry-standard NAS protocols (CIFS and NFS) without rewriting

applications to utilize the proprietary HTTP/REST API.
Using the Lattus A10 GUI, you will configure Lattus Object Storage

Policies that associate your NFS and CIFS shares with namespaces in the

Lattus object storage. Each NFS and CIFS share configured on your

Lattus A10 Access Node should be associated with a single namespace,

and each namespace should only be used for a single NFS or CIFS share.
