Note:
If you do not install the GoVault system application
software, the Windows operating system might assign the
low-speed Programmed I/O (PIO) mode for GoVault data
transfer operations. Use the procedures in
appendix B,
Configuring Windows for DMA Data Transfer Mode
, on
page 66 to determine if this is the case and, if necessary,
configure the operating system to use the high-speed
Direct Memory Access (DMA) mode for GoVault data
transfer operations.
