Remove an SSD
Assembly
To remove an SSD assembly:

Log in to the Appliance Controller Console as the
sysadmin
user:

Open an SSH connection to the Appliance Controller using the
sysadmin
user account.

At the

sysadmin
user's password
(the default is
sysadmin

In the Appliance Controller Console, enter the following command
to detach the degraded drive from the system:
The system identifies the degraded drive and detaches it. It returns
the following message if the drive detachment was successful:
login as: sysadmin
sysadmin@quantum's password:

eng.example.com
