Under the Session section of the login screen enter the following
information:
•
Hostname
- IP Address of the DXi
•
Port Number
- Leave set to 22
•
Username
- root
•
Password
- (contact Quantum ASPS for the service password)
Leave all other fields as defaults
Note:
You can also leave the
Username
and
Password
boxes
blank, and you will be prompted to enter them during the
authentication process.
After you are successfully connected to the DXi system, the default
view will be showing the root directory (see
on the interface that you have selected (
Explorer View
or
Norton
Commander View
).
