Installing an Expansion Card in Riser 1
To install a replacement expansion card in riser 1:
1. Holding the card by its edges, position the card so that the card edge connector aligns with the

2. Insert the card edge connector firmly into the expansion card connector until the card is fully seated.
3. Close the expansion card latches.
4. If applicable, connect any cables to the expansion card.
5. Install the expansion card riser (see

8. Run
Factory Detect Hardware
from the
Service Menu
to detect the new hardware (see

9. In the remote management console, delete any administrative alerts and close any service tickets.
