8 Controlling your SLED with CohesionUI
You can use Quantifi Photonics' graphical user interface CohesionUI to work with your SLED module. For details on how to get started with CohesionUI,

In CohesionUI you can:

Set channel parameter values.
l
Toggle the laser ON/OFF.
8.1 Setting channel parameter values
Specific control parameters for a given channel in the SLED PXIe module can be set by clicking the parameter button, or by using the + and – control
buttons to increase or decrease the value field by a set amount. This step size is set in the SETTINGS menu.
This applies to the following parameter:
l
POWER
: The desired output power of the SLED module.
Alternatively, the parameter can also be set to the MIN and MAX value by clicking the dropdown in the name of the parameter.
In the above example, the
POWER
for CHANNEL 1 has been set to
15 mW
by manual input. To apply the changes, click the tick mark.
The
WAVELENGTH (FREQUENCY)
value represents the wavelength (frequency) output of light of the SLED module. This corresponds to the spectral
location of the central peak of the laser.
