Main 485 - Main Port
This section of the Communications Setup window includes the fields described below.
Type Indicates the type of signaling hardware used for the Main Port. This is
an information-only field and does not change with duplex selection.
Duplex Selects the duplex type used for communications. If using a 2-wire
duplex remember to add jumpers to terminal block TB2 as explained in
the Hardware section under Communications.
Protocol
Selects between the available communications protocols to be used by
the Main Port communications. The Remote (Qualitrol) protocol comes
standard but other protocols: DNP 3.0, Modbus, ASCII, IEC 60870 are
available.
Address
Indicates the communication address of the 509ITM used by the
specified protocol.
Baud Rate Selects the desired baud rate for the Main Port communications
protocol. The default value is 19,200.
