Repacking the Printer

Remove the Toner and 

Developer Cartridges

Remove the printer’s top cover.

Remove the black 
toner cartridge.

a

Holding the toner 
cartridge across its 
center, squeeze the 
sides to loosen the 
pins on the back 
side from the 
developer cartridge 
notches. 

b

Lift the toner cartridge straight up and out of the printer.

Set the toner cartridge aside.

Place it on a level surface on a large sheet of paper to catch loose 
residue.

Lift up the two green 
latches (one at each 
end) of the developer 
cartridge, and release 
the cartridge by press-
ing back on the 
latches behind the car-
tridge while pulling 
forward on the 
cartridge.
