Printer Drivers
4 Install a printer driver.
See “Installing Macintosh Printer Drivers” on page 10.
5 Now you’re ready to print.
See chapter 2, “Printing,” of this manual for information on color
control, using different types and sizes of media, and an overview
of printer features. If you purchased your printer with an internal
hard disk installed, see “About Internal Hard Disks” on page 17 of
this chapter for information on taking advantage of it.
Installing Macintosh Printer
Drivers
To be able to use all your printer’s special features, you need to take
a few minutes to load the following software from the Macintosh disks
we shipped with your printer:
If QuickDraw GX is installed on your Macintosh, load the GX
driver for the QMS
magicolor CX. Go to “Installing the QMS GX
Driver” on page 11.
If QuickDraw GX is not installed on your Macintosh, install the fol-
lowing:

PS Executive Series printer utilities

LaserWriter 8. x and the magicolor CX PPD file
