Click on the “Finish” button.  

The QIAgility Software and instrument have now been 

successfully installed.

Setting up the QIAgility 

Note

: If the “Hardware Wizard” appears when the computer 

is switched on, see Section 4.8 for more details. 
1.

 

Ensure that the instrument lid is closed. 

2.

 

Set the power switch of the QIAgility to the on position 

and switch the computer on. The pipetting head should 

move upwards. If this does not happen, please consult 

the Troubleshooting section of this user manual. 

3.

 

Double-click on the   icon on the desktop. This launches 

the QIAgility Software. Alternatively, select 

“Start/Programs/QIAgility/QIAgility”. 

Note

: If the instrument is not switched on, the software 

will be operated in “Virtual Mode”. For more 

information, see Section 5.2. 

4.

 

The following welcome screen will appear. Select the 

“New” tab.
