Manual operation “resend”
If a report file cannot be sent to the PC or printer, it is temporarily stored on the EZ1 Advanced XL.
Up to 10 report files can be stored. Use the “resend” function to manually transmit the report file(s)
to the PC or printer.
Press

in the manual operation screen to choose the “resend” operation. The following screen
appears.

START: Resend
ESC: Abort

to start the “resend” operation or
ESC
to return to the previous screen.
While the operation is in progress, the following screen appears.

Alternatively, if there are no report files temporarily stored on the EZ1 Advanced XL, the following
screen appears.

No report file to
be sent
ESC: Back
Press
ESC
to return to the manual operation screen.
If there is an error during transmission, the following screen appears.

Resend report file
failed
ESC: Back
Press
ESC
. Check the connection to the PC or printer. Make sure that the PC or printer is turned on.
If using a PC, make sure that the EZ1 Advanced Communicator software is installed and running
on the PC.
If the transmission problem cannot be fixed, contact QIAGEN Technical Services.
