Closing the QIAsoft M software
1. If you are viewing the first window of the software, click
the “Exit” button in the lower-right corner of the window.
If you are viewing a different window, click the “Cancel”
button to return to the first window. Then click “Exit”.
2. After you click “Exit”, a dialog box appears and asks for
confirmation.
3. Click “Yes” to close the QIAsoft M software.
5.2.4
Error log window
When the QIAsoft M software is open, 2 buttons appear in
the Windows taskbar:
• The QIAsoft M BIOS button
• The QIAsoft M software button
If the BioRobot M48 unexpectedly develops an error, click the
QIAsoft M BIOS button to view the error log window.
A description of the error log codes that appear in this
window are provided in Section 7.2.2, page 7-3.
NOTE:
Except for the procedure described in Section 7.2.1
(page 7-2), do not select any options from the menu bar of
the error log window. They may disrupt the protocol being
run.
Click the QIAsoft M software button to return to the window
of the QIAsoft M software.
