Visibly ensure there are no obstructions
inside the boat or outside before operating
the platform. Deploying it near a dock or pil-
ings could result in damage to the platform.
DO NOT partially deploy the platform to get it
close to a dock to stand on top of it to access
the dock.
To open the platform, press and hold the
PLATFORM switch. It will take several sec-
onds for the locking pins to disengage before
the platform starts to open. Be aware of this
time as it takes the same amount of time to
engage the locking pins when closing the
platform. Continue to hold the switch until the
platform is fully deployed.
The swim ladder can now be installed onto
the platform. Insert the two pins on the ladder
base into the ladder base plate in the plat-
form. Slide it to lock in place.
To close the platform, remove the swim
ladder. Do not close the platform with the
swim ladder in place. Press and hold the
PLATFORM switch until the platform is fully
retracted. It will also take several seconds for
the locking pins to engage. Visually verify that
the locking pins are engaged before starting
the engine and getting underway.
DANGER
!
CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING
AND/OR ROTATING PARTS HAZARD
Poisonous CO gases are present at
the rear of the boat when an engine is
running. A rotating propeller can cut
or entangle swimmers. Both of these
hazards will cause death or serious
injury. DO NOT use the swim/boarding
platform when the engine is running.
CAUTION
!
Periodically inspect boarding platform
fittings for wear, damage or loose fit.
Repair or replace before using your boat.
