2.2.3 How to connect the breathing circuit,
outlet filter, and mask
To connect the breathing circuit, outlet filter, and mask or
nasal interface to the
KnightStar 330
(refer to Figure 2-2):

1. Attach the breathing circuit patient pressure tube to
the corresponding connector on the front of the
device.
2. Push the larger end of the outlet filter onto the
KnightStar 330
’s air outlet connector.
3. Push the end of the breathing circuit over the outlet
filter’s connector.
Always operate the
KnightStar 330
with the
outlet filter in place. Failure to do so could
increase your risk of infection or contaminant
inhalation.
