INTERCEPTOR-2000 AIR CLEANER
USERS MANUAL
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Pure n Natural Systems, Inc. recommends that a licensed electrician or licensed
contractor install units.
WARNINGS:
1.
Always unplug or disconnect the air cleaner from power supply before servicing.
2.
To reduce the risk of electric shock or injury to persons, do not expose to water or
rain, do not use in a window.
3.
Do not use this fan with any solid state speed control device.
FILTER CHANGING:
1. 4” Pleated Pre Filter
-
Replace every 1 to 2 months.
2. 15” Multi Pocket Filter
-
Replace at least every 3 months.
3. H.E.P.A. Filter
-
Replace at least every 12 months.
ALL FILTERS ARE DISPOSABLE AND CANNOT BE CLEANED OR WASHED.
Step 1.
Unhook retainer spring from the bottom center on the front of the cabinet.
Step 2.
The 4” Pleated Pre Filter is the initial filter behind the retainer spring. Slide the
pre-filter out of the system and discard. Replace with new pre-filter and replace retainer
spring.
Step 3.
The 15” Multi Pocket Filter is located directly behind the 4” pleated pre-filter.
After removing the pre-filter, slide the multi pocket filter out and discard. Replace with
new multi pocket filter, pre-filter and retainer spring.
Step. 4.
The Final Phase H.E.P.A. filter is located directly behind the 15” multi pocket
filter. After removing the pre-filter and multi pocket filter, remove the 2 cleats which are
held in place by (2) 10-24 screws in each cleat. After removing cleats, slide out H.E.P.A.
filter and discard. Replace with new H.E.P.A. filter, replace cleats, multi pocket filter,
pre-filter and retainer spring.
