Chapter 7:Setting Parameters
Host Conn
Settings
Note:
The “Settings” sub-menu is not available when
802.IQv2
is selected as
the “Conn Type”. In addition, this sub-menu varies depending on which
option you’ve selected –
Telnet
or
9010t
.
Host
This parameter is used to assign a host IP address using the format ###.###.###.###
or a host name if DNS is used.
Port
“Port” specifies the
9010t
(TCP Direct) or
Telnet
port number. The default
9010t
port number assigned is 9999, the maximum allowable value. The default
Telnet
port number assigned is 23 with a maximum allowable value of 32767.
ENTER Pmpt
This string indicates that the terminal is waiting for the user to press <ENTER> at
the time of connection.
ESC Prompt
This string indicates that the user can press the <ESC> key to terminate a
connection attempt before the connection is established.
