Wall Mounting

The Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications system consists of at least
one hardware unit for running the call server. In addition, up to 3 additional
hardware units can be activated as an expansion. Each hardware unit offers
varying ranges of TDM telephony ports, depending on the device type.

If you wish to mount more than one hardware unit, the hardware units have
to be pre-assembled first.

1.

Remove the packaging material from the hardware units. Place all
hardware units next to one another with the front facing down on a table.

Pre-assembly for multiple hardware units

2.

Place the call server (1) hardware unit on the right. Place any additional
hardware units (2) next to it on the left. The hardware units are connected
to each other with 2 connector screws (3) respectively. Power supply is
provided with a coupling adapter (4).

3.

Start with the hardware unit on the right. Put 2 connectors into the slots
designed for them. Then insert a coupling adapter into the power supply
socket.
