Hunt Group Calls

●
Using the device menu (possible on U
pn
, IP and SIP system phones, soft-
phones and DECT system terminals)
●
Using code number procedures (possible on all terminals, with the
exception of SIP [system] phones)
●
Using the “Forum CTI” application (possible on all terminals)
Ideally, you should set system terminals, e. g. “Forum Phone 516/526/536”
system phones, as terminals for the members of a hunt group. With these
phones, members can make efficient use of the function using the display
screens and function keys. The corresponding IP and softphone variants of the
system phone and the “Forum IPhone 50xx” SIP system phone offer the same
ease of use.
For information on how to operate the phones, please refer to the operating
instructions for the terminals and the online help for the “Forum CTI”
application.
Configuring Hunt Group Call Function Keys
It is possible to configure function keys for group members with a system
phone (U
pn
, IP, SIP system phone or softphone) that members can use to log
into and out of hunt groups.
Note:
The way in which these function keys are labelled is predefined
for the communications system. You can either adopt the prede-
fined key labelling or change the labelling when programming
the keys.
Separate hunt group call function keys
You can set a separate group key for each hunt group to which the member is
assigned. The LED for the key lights up when the member is logged out.
●
In the case of a
standard hunt group
, the key is labelled with the internal
hunt group call number and the internal call number of the group
member, e.g.
HG no.: 798/402
.
●
In the case of a
comfort hunt group
, the key is labelled with the group
name, e.g.
Customer service
. A value indicating how full the call queue for
this group is appears in brackets next to this.
Combined hunt group call function key
If a member belongs to multiple
comfort hunt groups
, you can configure a
combined group key. The member can use this key to log into or out of all
