Forum 5004/5008/5012 also features an integrated browser-based CTI
application, the Forum CTI. The Forum CTI allow users to call up and use
telephone functions from their PCs. Using the Forum CTI you can conveniently
manage image files for phone book entries (“Picture-ID”, display on the
Forum IPhone 545 and Forum IPhone 5025 / 5030 / 5040).
Furthermore, the Forum CTI Touch web application is a web-based solution
available for controlling telephony functions with current smartphones.
Call charges recording and connection data recording
You can use an external programme in conjunction with the Forum 5004/
5008/5012 communications system to record connection data. The
connection data are sent to the external programme via CSTA (Computer
Supported Telecommunications Application), where they can be analysed.
The separately licensable Forum Count web application enables you to record,
store and analyse telephony connections using configurable filters. You will
find more information on this topic in the Online Help of the web console.
Further telephony features
You can optimize telephone communication using the team functions and
call-queuing function.
Furthermore, additional programme packages can be activated and operated
which provide extended and convenient telephony functions. These include,
e.g. the Forum Voicemail, Forum Auto Attendant and Forum ACD digital voice
memory and voice information systems.
You can query the internal phone book of the Forum 5004/5008/5012
communications system via LDAP. It is also possible to integrate entries of an
external directory via LDAP. Furthermore, integration into a network

For meeting rising demands, the Forum 5004/5008/5012 communications
system can be networked with other communications systems via
