Configuring the Forum 5004/5008/5012

Configuration

141

Starting the Web Console

1.

Start your Web browser. Enter the Forum 5004/5008/5012 IP address 
in the “Address” box: http://192.168.99.254/.

2.

The Forum 5004/5008/5012 Web console is started. During initial 
configuration, you have to update the system software first. Click the 

Browse

 button. Select the system software file that is stored on the PC 

(“*.bin”). Confirm with 

Load

. The update takes a couple of minutes, after 

this a new page is displayed in the browser.

3.

First set the country in which you are operating the Forum 5004/5008/
5012, and in which language the Web console is to be displayed.

Forum 5004/5008/5012: log on dialogue box

4.

To commence configuration, you must first log on. For the initial configu-
ration, enter your: 

user name: “Administrator”
password: for the initial configuration, leave this box blank.

5.

Confirm this by clicking on 

Login
